Indian Motorcycle, an American motorcycle brand, has recently teased the next-generation Scout on social media. One of the most historic motorcycles in the world, the Indian Scout, is all set to debut on April 2, 2024. The brand is likely to unveil this new-gen model with some comprehensive updates. However, the company has not revealed many details about the new motorcycle.

The brand has released a 30-second trailer for the bike on its YouTube page. The new bike is likely to pay homage to the previous standard model. Indian Motorcycle recently unveiled the 2024 Indian Roadmaster Elite with a new color scheme utilizing its famous Indian Motorcycle Red paint. The new Scout is also expected to feature the same iconic color.

The original Scout's usage of a camera from the early 20th century implies that the new version will also be taking inspiration from the original in a few different ways. The company is expected to unveil the upcoming Indian Scout with classic styling and cutting-edge technology.

Powering the Standard Indian Scout is a 1,133-cc V-Twin, liquid-cooled engine. The unit churns out 98 bhp of power and a peak torque of 98 Nm. The Indian Scout is based on the original model with twin barrel exhausts, a low-slung design, and a wide handlebar. In terms of design language, the motorcycle is likely to come with revolutionary updates, whereas the motor could be retained with some tweaks. 

The Indian Scout was first launched in 1920 as the brand’s most popular offering. It was unveiled with a 606-cc engine. Later, it was updated with a 745-cc engine in 1927. The company is expected to share more details ahead of the model's global debut.
